As a ServiceNow HR Developer at Fortive, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions tailored to meet the needs of our HR organization and its workforce. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, functional, technical, and UX experts, to architect and lead ServiceNow HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) feature delivery. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR Shared Services agents, enabling them to better serve our employees.

An ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record in HR technologies and HR data. They should be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Development efforts will include (but are not limited to) Employee Service Center, Case and Knowledge Management, Onboarding and Transitions, Live Chat, Virtual Agent and Mobile
  • Participate in the administration of ServiceNow to include updates, upgrades, etc. as needed.
  • In addition, develop and manage application code, user interface, and third-party integration components.
  • The candidate will perform hands-on design, development, and modification to extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform, including maintaining and enhancing employee-facing content.
  • Perform customization and configuration, create scripts, create/update business rules and workflows, perform integration with external systems, and perform security updates.
  • Apply innovative technology to business processes in order to develop new ServiceNow solutions as well as troubleshoot issues.
  • Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences in Fortive’s OpCo’s.
  • Builds, leverages and maintains effective alliances across technical and business community.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve and optimize the environment, through tactical recommendations.
  • Documents the overall ServiceNow HRSD design and helps to analyze the impact of new requirements.
  • Participates in process workshops and Kaizens.
  • Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and utilization of available training.
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications - External

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 or more years of HR ServiceNow experience required
  • At least 4 or more years of ServiceNow experience required preferably for a large global company a developer
  • Proven track record of delivering solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field
  • Proficiency in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, including HRSD modules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with an HR Shared Services operating model.
  • Strong Technical knowledge of ServiceNow platform including development and customization, Data import, Application Security, reporting data and API’s.
  • Strong passion for customer service and user experience.
  • Experiencing working in a global environment.
  • Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow or HRSD configuration and custom development.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM is beneficial.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
