We are seeking a Documentation Quality Analyst to play a pivotal role in our Federal Learning Design team, whose primary focus is developing and maintaining training assets for Oracle Health’s largest federal client, Department of Veterans Affairs.

As a documentation quality analyst, you will perform quality reviews of documentation developed by yourself or peers and evaluate writing based on compliance with documentation standards. You will provide training and feedback to colleagues to improve documentation quality and compliance with documentation standards. You will develop and maintain documentation standards as well as participate in initiatives to improve documentation quality, such as assisting with the on-boarding of new employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Copy edit technical training, evaluating content against style guides.
  • Review learning assets for style guide adherence, writing style, writing quality and Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliance as they move through the production process.
  • Develop templates or net new assets that comply with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 requirements.
  • Provide expertise in the application of technical writing standards for client training content.
  • Collaborate with Quality Management team members to bring consistency to copy editing feedback across the team.
  • Maintain relationships across various stakeholder groups to provide a unified process for content review, audit and management.
  • Collaborate with Quality Management team members to develop and maintain quality management standard operating procedures, work instructions and documented processes.
  • Ability to prioritize work and level of effort against deadlines to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables to the client.
  • Create and deliver ongoing professional development sessions for a growing team.


Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical writing experience.
  • 1-2 years of copy-editing experience, with 3 years preferred.
  • Familiar with the AP Style Guide.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communication, English, Instructional Design, a related field or equivalent work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in eLearning and instructor-led training content creation preferred.
  • Experience working in agile sprints preferred.

US: Hiring Range: from $71,200 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
