Job Description Summary:


The Global Compliance Integration & Operations Leader has responsibilities for leading and working cross functionally to complete compliance due diligence and risk analysis for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and to coordinate the integration for newly acquired businesses into the GE HealthCare compliance program. Additional responsibilities may include leading other global compliance operations projects.


Lawyers and non-lawyers providing leadership and oversight to business operations to ensure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. Ensures appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices.


Interprets internal and external business challenges, identifies gaps and opportunities for compliance policy governance, training and systems integration/onboarding, and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of global industry trends and codes to inform decision making process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and works cross functionally to complete compliance due diligence and risk analysis for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Coordinates the integration for newly acquired businesses into the GE HealthCare compliance program.
  • Provide project management for global compliance operations related projects.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. Ensures appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices.
  • Influences policy, and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business solutions to leaders in functional area.
  • Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree,
  • 10+ years of professional experience in compliance or law.
  • Experience in business development, mergers, investments, or acquisitions particularly in due diligence.
  • Strong leadership with experience of supporting a globally distributed team.


Desired Characteristics:

  • J.D./master's degree.
  • Process and detail-oriented, including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
