Job Description

As the Lead Specialist -Technology Support Services, you will manage all project and sales support requests including vendor selection, solutions design, document review and development for wireless projects including Commercial Cellular, Public Safety, WIFI and Fixed Wireless Access. Must have level 3 iBwave certification or at least 7 to 10 years' experience in neutral host design with all leading OEMS. Solid, Corning, Commscope, JMA and ADRF.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and review LMR, Commercial Cellular, Public Safety, WIFI and Fixed Wireless Access engineering on key projects and sales opportunities.
  • Works with project managers and provides billing information to customers. Maintains control documentation for new and on-going designs. Shares information between internal and external liaisons
  • Assists with training and knowledge sharing within team. Confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve development efficiency.
  • Position standards-based technology solutions and education that meets the customer’s needs. Provides deliverables of BOM’s, design (Visio/CAD, iBWave) and written specifications as needed.
  • Deliver technical presentations and execute hands-on training in client meetings, technical seminars, and industry trade shows to educate customers and partners on emerging technologies.
  • Monitor TSS requests for wireless support daily.

Qualifications

  • IBWAVE level 3 certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Technical or engineering discipline, or commensurate years of technical experience preferred
  • 9+ years of experience in the technical field of design, implementation and/or commissioning
  • 5 years experience designing using Visio or AutoCAD 2D
  • Ability to use Ekahau
  • Possess a customer-centric mindset
  • Possess intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in specialist field with confident public speaking and presentation skills

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel 10% - 25%

Compensation Details: $90,289- $153,491/ yr

The compensation amount is not guaranteed. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position, however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience and qualifications.
