ABOUT THE ROLE

We are Horizon. Our behavioural research SaaS enables product, innovation, and consumer insights teams to validate product decisions by uncovering consumer purchase intent for any product decision or new product development. Your mission: Establish Horizon for market success prediction in global blueprint organisations by integrating our solution as the indispensable data point for all strategic product decisions.

Your opportunity: You are the first person on the ground as Account Manager #1 at Horizon, tag-teaming with our Co-Founder & CEO and working with global client companies such as BSH, Merz, Hansgrohe and more. With this position comes the opportunity to lead and build up our account management department and create a team around you in future.

This position can be filled remotely from Germany or nearby areas, as it requires occasional travel to clients or events, and most customers are currently Germany-based. And we also like to meet our teammates ????

WHERE YOU'LL ROCK THE SHOW
  • Establish Horizon as a Critical Decision-Making Tool: Collaborate with Research Management and Sales Teams to integrate Horizon into our clients’ product decisions, ensuring it becomes indispensable to their processes.
  • Drive Net Revenue Retention & Account Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance usage and ARR from existing clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic goals and align Horizon’s offerings to help achieve them.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships as the primary point of contact for deal champions and business application owners through regular check-ins.
  • Client Advocacy: Represent client needs internally, collaborating with Product, Marketing and Sales.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance with our Finance Lead, ensuring clients derive maximum value from Horizon's solution.
WHAT YOU NEED TO ROCK THE SHOW

  • B2B Sales and Account Management Experience: Proven experience managing corporate client accounts, ideally in B2B software or solution sales, with a track record of expanding and retaining business.
  • Enterprise-Relevant Expertise: Demonstrated success in understanding, mapping, managing and growing multi-stakeholder accounts with corporate clients of at least 1,000 employees.
  • Empathy: You like to make human connections, are an active listener, and can effectively understand and address stakeholder needs.
  • HubSpot Proficiency: Experience using HubSpot to manage sales and account management activities, with a knack for keeping things efficient without overengineering.
  • Fluency in German and English: Native-level German proficiency and near-native English fluency.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: A hypothesis-based work approach focusing on achieving results with your client accounts.
