We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced National Settlement Officer to join a national client. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of settlement for purchase and refinance files across various states.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Documentation and procedures comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders, coordinating communication and resolving any issues that arise during the settlement process.
  • Review and prepare settlement statements, title commitments, and other necessary documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including RESPA and TRID guidelines, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and industry standards.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in settlement files, providing solutions and guidance to ensure timely and successful closings.
Specific qualifications for the position include
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in title, settlement, or escrow services, with a strong understanding of purchase and refinance transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of title insurance, settlement processes, and real estate regulations. Familiarity with TRID and RESPA requirements is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience with SoftPro preferred.
Pay Rate Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
