Location & Remote Work

This is a remote position. We continue to have an office in São Paulo and employees can visit up to twice a week, optionally. In addition, we have partnerships with coworking spaces throughout Brazil that are also available up to twice a week.

It is a brand that faces the challenge of dealing with different audiences (e.g., B2C & B2B; Supply & Demand), segments of operation (e.g., Rental & Purchase/Sale), and business and product strategies.

This position is part of the Total Rewards team at QuintoAndar, focusing on compensation strategy, job evaluation, short-term incentives, and governance. If you have a background in compensation, with experience in both fixed and variable compensation, and are eager to tackle challenges in a fast-growing environment, this opportunity is for you.

As a Compensation Specialist, you will work in the following areas:

1. Developing and Reviewing Compensation Strategies:
Develop and update strategies and compensation-related tables, including salary ranges and short- and long-term incentives, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

2. LATAM Governance:

Monitor local labor laws, tax regulations, and economic factors to ensure compensation practices remain competitive in LATAM. Stay updated on new legislative and regulatory developments, adjusting policies and practices accordingly.

3. Job Structure and Evaluation:
Evaluate positions within the organization to determine their relative standing in the

compensation structure based on criteria such as responsibilities, competencies, skills, personality traits, and motivators.

4. Conducting Salary Surveys:
Carry out market research to compare the company's compensation levels with industry practices, ensuring the organization maintains a competitive and fair salary policy in LATAM.

5. Short-Term Incentive Program Management:
Oversee the company's short-term incentive program, focusing on strategy development, budget oversight, communication, and ensuring alignment with company policy and global best practices.

6. Compensation Program Education:
Responsible for implementing educational programs about the company’s compensation products. This includes creating informational materials, conducting training sessions and workshops, and providing ongoing support to clarify employee inquiries.

Requirements

    • 4+ years of experience with LATAM compensation preference for knowledge in Argentina, Mexico and Peru. Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies is a plus (KornFerry, Mercer, WTW).
    • Experience with salary survey tools and compensation systems (Oracle or Workday).
    • Analytical skills, with the ability to create formulas and metrics to extract actionable insights.
    • Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with various stakeholders.
    • Academic background in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
    • Good communication in English is mandatory and Spanish is a plus.
