Job Highlights

Implement sales plans and strategies for Inorganic Pigments (IPG) in the segment.

Will have direct contact and responsibility for IPG customers and key accounts.

Gather, assimilate and analyze market and competitive information through customer visits and distribute information through written call reports.

Develop and update the monthly rolling and annual sales forecasts for the customers in the territory.

Represent the interests of LANXESS and actively participate on the industry committees and tradeshows.

Assist in formulation and implementation of long- and short-term strategic sales plans for assigned accounts within the territory.

Communicate customer requirements and needs to proper internal personnel/departments.

Participate in contract negotiations with customers.

Recommend pricing strategies based on IPG guidelines and evaluate customer requests for special pricing in accordance with those guidelines.

Implement strategies for new product introduction to select customers.

Coordinate special customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a technical degree.

3 - 5 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency with CRM, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Word.

Must have excellent presentation, communication, organization, time management and networking skills.

Previous project management and international experience is advantageous.

Must be able to travel between 40 - 50% of the time, with overnight stays.

This is a fully remote position.

Territory includes all of the U.S. and Canada.
