What You Do

The role of the Senior Manager, Creator Activation is to build and launch best-in-class creator and influencer campaigns, including talent selection and identification, relationship management, outreach/negotiations, campaign measurement and insights, and industry thought-leadership.

Through individual contribution, you will develop strategic platforms to drive client benefit in all influencer marketing activation efforts.

Responsibilities Include

  • Management of successful end-to-end influencer campaign programming including influencer/creator selection, outreach, contract and compensation negotiation, content development facilitation (i.e. client approval rounds, feedback, management, troubleshooting, budget and timeline management, campaign performance analysis)
  • Lead daily communication with campaign creators and respective agents
  • Develop creative content briefs to ensure brand alignment to campaign goals
  • Provide thoughtful and respectful feedback to influencers on content pitches, final assets, and contract negotiations
  • Understand and guide internal and external client implications of new and changing trends within the influencer ecosystem
  • Maintain expertise of best practice for best use of influencer content across various owned, earned, and paid marketing channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and/or their management teams to ensure influencers enjoy working with our team
  • Build and manage relationships with client team by providing prompt communication and visibility into status of campaigns and programs
  • Review influencer content and posts for adherence to FTC guidelines, campaign strategy, and brand guidelines
  • Advise and work collaboratively across teams, guiding best practices and aiding in creator & influencer prioritization
  • Leverage analytical insights and data to enhance campaign executions and optimize content opportunities
  • Own and foster junior client and third-party vendor relationships across complex marketing organizations, leading meetings and daily communications via email, phone, and in-person opportunities
  • Research markets, audiences, industry trends, etc to bring cutting-edge ideas to creative solutions

Qualifications For The Role

  • 4+ years experience in social media, digital, and influencer marketing at an agency or large, consumer-facing brand; experience in e-commerce and/or retail a plus
  • Experience in influencer & creator marketing, including responsibility for both strategy and execution
  • Possess knowledge of influencer strategy, social channel expertise, and influencer contract/negotiation and payment processes
  • Experience with Influencer Discovery and Reporting platforms (for example, CreatorIQ, Captiv8, Aspire, Meltwater, etc.).
  • Experience with influencer advertising guidelines, including the FTC rules and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven success in a highly collaborative working style
  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects while providing strategic recommendations for best-in-class work outputs
  • Highly organized, exceptionally detail-oriented, and accountable for results
  • Experience managing outside vendors and platform partners
  • Experience working with a variety of digital content management systems
