Job description

Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual passionate about sales and in-depth knowledge of customs brokerage/logistics and are located in Canada or the United States? Quota Crushers Agency is hiring an experienced Account Executive to target new business using effective sales strategies for our client, A leading company with over four decades in the customs & logistics industry. You'll sell a global suite of 3PL logistics services covering Customs brokerage, trade compliance and Freight. Your role will encompass long-term strategy, business development, client relations, operations, and management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Forge Lucrative Partnerships: Identify and engage potential clients across various industries, introducing them to the unparalleled advantages of customs brokerage and logistics solutions.
  2. Nurture Strong Relationships: Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring maximum satisfaction and loyalty to services.
  3. Compelling Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, skillfully showcasing solution expertise and unique value proposition to prospective clients.
  4. Collaborate for Excellence: Collaborate closely with the customs brokerage operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and consistently exceed customer expectations.
  5. Win-Win Negotiations: Skillfully negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, fostering mutually beneficial and profitable partnerships.
  6. Track Success: Report to the VP of sales and keep precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics to improve the approach continually.
  7. Expand Your Reach: Take advantage of industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen the company's presence in the customs brokerage market.
  8. Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated with changes in customs regulations and trade policies to provide clients with invaluable advice and guidance.

Qualifications:

  1. Sales Savvy: 2 + years' experience in sales, ideally within the customs brokerage or logistics industry.
  2. Customs Expertise: A strong understanding of customs brokerage procedures, regulations, and documentation in Canada.
  3. Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and surpass sales targets.
  4. Communication Maestro: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  5. Persuasive Negotiator: Strong negotiation skills to confidently close deals and cultivate long-term partnerships.
  6. Self-Motivated: Driven and goal-oriented, capable of thriving independently and collaboratively within a team.
  7. Multitasking Guru: Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
  8. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools to streamline your efforts.
