Job description

Title: Manager - Workforce Planning
Location: Atlanta, GA; Metro DC, or Remote

Marathon TS is looking for a passionate, experienced Workforce Planning Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Workforce Planning Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders, managing team members/staffing, planning and prioritizing work assignments, identifying next steps, escalating issues with GovStrive/WATS leadership and working directly with client leadership.
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings and sessions as necessary, while coaching team members and transitioning and overseeing meetings/session responsibilities when appropriate.
  • Manages relationships with clients and client leadership teams, including managing and overseeing correspondence and reporting.
  • Drive client satisfaction through the delivery of quality service/work products and results and by owning the development and quality review of project deliverables (e.g. briefings, presentations, reports/dashboards, trainings, communications, standard operations procedures.)
  • Take ownership of monitoring project financials to manage the project budget and review and approve project invoices with the assistance of Accounting as needed.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may adversely impact GovStrive business; proactively communicate and escalate risks and issues to both project and GovStrive leadership.
  • Operate as a supervisor for employees, providing coaching, mentorship and career development; conducting job appraisals; delivering feedback; enforcing policies and procedures; and approving leave and schedules.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 or more years of experience in & an understanding of the Federal landscape, including supporting processes, policy and technology
  • 3 or more years of experience in leading Workforce Planning projects including managing project resources
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, HR Outsourcing Advisory, and HR Technology
  • Experience leading current/future state road mapping, requirements gathering workshops, running labs, and/or facilitating meetings
  • US Citizenship
