We are solving the 5 M labor shortage in the US, starting with blue collar jobs in the solar industry, by enabling the immigration of 500,000 Mexican solar workers to solve the US solar labor crisis of +1.5m workers in the next 10 years.

Work description

We are looking for a Project Manager Consultant who can help us execute our first pipeline of projects (17 MW) while helping us build the systems and processes for the Project Management function within our company.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of solar projects, including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operation.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans and ensure that they are adhered to.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers, to ensure that project requirements are met.
Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Ensure that all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Monitor project progress and report on project status to senior management.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience successfully executing C&I solar PV projects
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
3+ years of experience in solar project management on 200kW - 2mw sites
Strong knowledge of solar technology, construction, and project management principles.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
PMI/PMP certification and NABCEP Certification desired
