This is a remote position.

Position               : ORMB (Oracle Revenue and Billing Management) SME

Experience         : 10+ Years


  • Solution Design and Implementation: Utilize your in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with ORMB functionalities, architecture, and data models to design end-to-end solutions that align with business needs and requirements. Lead the configuration and customization of the ORMB software, leveraging your knowledge of technical components to optimize performance and functionality.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge and proficiency in algorithms, batch processing, configuration tools, Java, scripting languages (e.g., Groovy), UI mapping, and other OUAF-related technical components. Utilize this expertise to develop robust and efficient solutions within the ORMB environment.
  • Roadmap Development: Collaborate with business partners to identify and document business needs and requirements. Assist in creating ORMB solution approaches and building roadmaps to achieve the platform and organizational objectives. Develop transformation objectives and set priorities, integrating them with the organizational direction.
  • Fit/Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough fit/gap analysis to identify areas where out-of-the-box ORMB functionality can be maximized to meet business requirements. Recommend appropriate solution options to achieve optimal utilization of ORMB capabilities, leveraging your technical knowledge for effective decision-making.
  • Integration and Alignment: Engage with dependent teams to align technology roadmaps and decisions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and applications within the organization's ecosystem. Leverage your technical acumen to facilitate smooth data exchanges and communication between systems.
  • Best Practices and Principles: Introduce ORMB best practices and principles to enable consistent and high-quality delivery of solutions. Ensure alignment with the long-term direction of the organization's technology landscape, and foster the adoption of industry-leading practices.
  • ORMB Practice Support: Provide support in building the ORMB practice within the organization. Share knowledge and expertise with team members to enhance their understanding and proficiency in ORMB implementation and technical components.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the design and configuration of ORMB software, ensuring that it meets the specified business requirements and adheres to architectural best practices. Utilize your technical expertise to guide and mentor development teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing ORMB solutions and processes. Implement enhancements to optimize performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging your technical knowledge for innovative solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: 5-10 years of successful ORMB product implementations with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Deep ORMB Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ORMB functionalities, including Rules Engine, Billing, General Ledger, Receipt Application/Payments, and Credit/Collections.
  • Technical Proficiency: Sound knowledge of technical components such as algorithms, batch processing, configuration tools, Java, scripting (e.g., Groovy,4GL), UI map, and other OUAF-related technical components.
  • Oracle Utilities Experience: Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework and Configuration Tools.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to work closely with business partners, identify business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform fit/gap analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
