Job description

Title: eCommerce SrQA Analyst
Duration: 9+ Months
Location: Remote
Interview Process: 2 Rounds ( 1 Phone + 1 Video)
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders by providing feedback and guidance to define functional requirements, modeling those requirements in an organized manner, and communicating those requirements throughout SDLC.
  • Review and understand Business Requirements and Functional specifications documents to create test cases/use cases and test plans.
  • Participate in Sprint planning for QA activities and provide estimates for testing
  • Perform Functional, system integration, sanity and regression testing
  • Produce, present, and execute scripts across E2E and UAT cycles (including system, scenario, and regression) according to website functional specification documentation and design comps.
  • Ensures comprehensive test coverage of functional tests and regression test suites
  • Log defects by accurately adding steps with proper details and documentation
  • Proficient in working with defect management tools (preferably JIRA)
  • Communicate with management team, development vendor, and business area experts to improve product functionality, resolve issues, and improve consumer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • 4 years prior experience in QA testing methodologies in a retail, ecommerce environment.
  • Minimum of three(3) years of QA experience in testing IBM Sterling OMS.
  • Deep understanding of global order management, preferably in cross channel retail industry including global rollouts.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a SDLC(AGILE).
  • Background in testing software at API and Web service level and testing ecommerce applications
  • Ability to understand user requirements, support testing, UAT and user training.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining functional artifacts, including detailed documentation.
  • Ability to drive defect triage meetings and articulate defect details
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all audiences of all levels, spanning from technical peers to executive management.
  • Prior employment in a fashion / multi-brand environment is ideal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalent work experience
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
  • Demonstrate strong technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Able to work in a fast-pacedenvironment, including prioritizing and multi-tasking while paying close attention to detail.
  • Should be flexible to work on different ecommerce sites and should be browser/platform agnostic.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and SFCC a plus
  • Debugging data using query tools ie. Access, MySQL, XML Parsers
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Tools and experience with defect management (JIRA) a plus
  • 3rd party commerce integrations across ESP, OMS, WMS, Analytics, Scene7, Bazaarvoice, Payment/Checkout processes
