Position Overview**

This Client Insights & Service Consultant role supports The Krusteaz Company, makers of all types of baking mixes. As innovators in Big Data, Circana is looking for passionate client advocates with strong analytic skills to advance solutions that best build the client's strategic vision. Collaborate with our clients and internal teams to maximize and apply insights gleaned from Circana data including store data analysis, household purchase behavior analysis, surveys, audits, data modeling, in-market testing, and other custom projects. **

What will you need to be successful?**

Advanced Analytic Skills : Demonstrated ability to independently conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses that provide clients with fresh, actionable insights to inform strategy.

  • Adept at quickly recognizing and understanding client needs and desired outcomes; comfortable asking discovery and scoping questions when needed.
  • Instinctive ability to envision mutually beneficial outcomes and proactively conceive analysis project plans and structure client deliverables.
  • Skillfully applies different data sets and metrics to address issues, leading to clear, fact-based responses to client needs.
  • Recognizes opportunities to utilize Circana subject matter experts to address client needs and effectively partners with colleagues and clients to pursue, leveraging their superior client knowledge to achieve mutual wins.

Consultative Selling: Apply knowledge of the client, marketplace dynamics, and Circana capabilities to identify, pursue, and close business opportunities.

  • Target and sell services that address expressed (and sometimes unexpressed) client needs; ask questions to identify the root causes of issues versus symptoms.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners to develop correct solutions, tightly linking client needs to Circana capabilities and helping to deliver clear, compelling proposals.

Impactful Presence : Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Gain the trust of clients, Circana cross-functional partners, and other stakeholders, and be perceived as a domain expert and valued business partner.
  • Intellectually curious, and aware of industry trends and how they may impact clients, consumers, shoppers, and competitors.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to communication; adapt messages quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise and polish.

Client Focus : Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improve the relationship.
  • Track and organize multiple work streams and manage time and resources against changing priorities.

Service Leadership & Communication : Demonstrate technical leadership by managing end to end process of content delivery.

  • Proactively manages communication and expectations with team members, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise for Circana solutions, data questions, story building, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with functional teams (e.g. Product Management, Support, Sales) to ensure customer needs are being prioritized and addressed appropriately.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive, relevant experience in marketing, sales, insights, or related functions with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Research, or Marketing Services company
  • Experience with Circana/IRI or other syndicated data solutions such as Nielsen, is required
  • Demonstrated ability to use and integrate multiple data sources to address client business issues with data-driven findings and implications
  • Prior experience partnering successfully with cross-functional teams to achieve intended business outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

_The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $64,000 to $115,000.
