As a Sales Development Representative, you will:
Directly impact the vision and mission of helping students succeed by partnering with team members and functions throughout the company to generate revenue.
Cross collaborate with team members in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Product
Furthermore, in this role you will frequently have conversations with various senior leaders at HigherEd institutions about their goals and objectives regarding student success, retention, engagement, and mental health. You must be comfortable with and excited to help these leaders shape the future of the Higher Education Student experience.
Role Purpose
This full-time position reports to the SDR manager and your primary objectives will be as follows:
Qualifying Inbound and Outbound leads to generate new opportunities and pipeline for the sales team
Partnering with the sales team to target ket accounts in their territories to develop new opportunities
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for follow-up on inbound marketing leads, drive cold outbound campaigns to identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
Lead inquisitive and engaging conversations over the phone and via email in order to book discovery calls for account executives
Conduct thorough discovery processes to identify potential needs and qualify prospects to ultimately schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team members on a strategic sales approach
Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in their CRM application, HubSpot.
Qualifications
Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Tableau, Google Apps, Microsoft Office
Demonstrates ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
The capability of understanding customer pain points, and requirements and correlating potential business to value
Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving production goals from assigned territory
Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do and brings new ideas to the team

BA/BS degree or relevant experience
