Permanent/ Full time role
Our client is a leader in next generation live cell sorting and recovery solutions. Our Cyto R1 product system improves the speed and precision of the sorting, enrichment, and recovery of live cells from tissue and other biological samples. Our technology can be used to quickly isolate, enrich, and recover rare, distinct cell populations, enabling their downstream analysis, including their response to therapeutics. Our technology is "marker independent,” can achieve cell sorting in minutes, and is compatible with flow cytometry workflows. Additionally, our platform can be used in sample preparation for many downstream assays and culture experiments.
Responsibilities: The Account Manager will report to the Vice-President & Chief Scientific Officer, and have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for all customer development and sales responsibilities as assigned, including lead generation, sales funnel expansion, prospect engagement, closing and post-closing customer service.
- Provide on-site support and product demonstrations for current and potential customers.
- Implement agreed upon sales and marketing action items to meet the business goals of expanding customer base in the assigned area.
- Provide input to the company as to datasets that need to be developed to support market development.
- Provide input to and support the development of marketing materials such as website content, webinars, product information sheets and represent the Company at relevant conferences and exhibitions.
- Work for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Achieve sales and gross margin targets by delivering on both volume and price targets set in annual sales plan.
Requirements:
BS, MS or PhD with experience in selling, and/or technical support of cell sorting products to pharmaceutical and academic research laboratories is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cell biology customer needs preferred.
- Demonstrated selling skills and product knowledge preferred.
- Available for travel on-site customer demonstrations/customer support required.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize required.
- Effective and ethical work habits with excellent communication skills required.
- Strong commitment towards working as a team in a dynamic environment required
Preferred Work Experience
- Technical service / field service experience in related cell sorting or related field
