Who we are:

BoostDraft is a software engineering company that develops an AI-assisted legal document editor, revolutionizing the legal drafting world by eliminating overlooked inefficiencies. 

The company was founded two years ago by MIT and Stanford graduate students, initially targeting the Japanese market. To date, we have experienced significant success, achieving profitability and exponential growth without relying on external funding. Our product is dominating the Japanese legal market–our users include all “Big Five” law firms, most of the top 20 law firms, and numerous global enterprises such as Canon and Honda.

Why BoostDraft needs you:

Our recent success has prompted us to expand beyond Japan, reaching into the USA, Europe, and the Asian market. Korea holds particular importance for us as we aim to strengthen our presence in the Asian market. We are already achieving initial customers such as Kim & Chang and Shin & Kim. However, at present, we lack a dedicated member in our sales team based in Korea to spearhead the expansion of our business.

What you will do:

  • Software Understanding:
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the features and strengths of our software.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to articulate our unique value proposition.
  • Lead Generation:
    • Identify and prospect transactional attorneys and legal department personnel within enterprises as potential clients.
    • Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads and build a robust pipeline.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce our software and assess their needs.
    • Schedule and conduct engaging demo meetings, showcasing the software's capabilities effectively.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment of sales efforts.
    • Attend demo meetings with other team members to provide in-depth insights and answer client queries.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Foster strong relationships with potential clients to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
    • Effectively communicate the benefits and ROI of our software to create long-lasting client partnerships.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience
    • A minimum of 3 years of distinguished work experience within major legal firms or corporate legal departments in Korea.
  • Corporate Legal Expertise:
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of corporate legal affairs, showcasing expertise in navigating complex legal matters.
  • Cultural Insight:
    • Possess a keen understanding of Korean culture, enabling effective communication and collaboration in a culturally diverse environment.

Language Requirement:

  • Proficiency in Korean at more than fluent level
  • Proficiency in either Japanese or English at a business level.

Nice-to-have:

  • Lawyer’s license 
  • Sales experience
