Optiwatt Utility Sales Director

To achieve this, we are deploying an energy management platform for your home and EV that provides personalized, connected customer experiences to lower customer energy costs while providing load flexibility to decarbonize the grid and reduce blackouts. We currently have built the largest network of connected and controlled EVs in the US and are rapidly expanding into other devices. We are a software-focused company seeking a sales leader to join our team and sell Optiwatt's solution to utilities directly reducing the CO2 emissions for thousands of electric vehicles and connected devices while simultaneously making the electric grid more flexible and sustainable.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, intelligent sales leader who has a proven track record of exceeding quota, new business targets and landing multi-million dollar deals selling large complex software, SaaS or services sales. This role requires an in-depth understanding of (or passion and desire to learn about) the electric and gas utility buying economics (including how the both regulated and non-regulated utility models work). Demonstrating specific and current domain expertise, which can be leveraged from day one to quickly build a strong business pipeline and to meet sales targets, is a must.
