We are currently looking for Senior Supply Chain Consultants who can help us realize dramatic results and unmatched experiences for our clients.**

In this role you will:

  • Lead and support project engagements around process improvement/operational excellence focused primarily on the supply chain function of a client’s business
  • Understand the client's organization and their specific business issues to define/present solutions to drive value and deliver results to the client
  • Identify and implement improvements and process excellence programs across the various aspects of people, process, information (including metrics), and technology
  • Provide business process knowledge/best practices to our clients and Centric partners
  • Interview key stakeholders to establish historical constraints and develop success criteria
  • Collect and analyze data as well as gather and document client requirements
  • Analyze business processes/data to develop recommendations
  • Develop process definitions and documentation
  • Lead process mapping workshops
  • Coach and/or educate the team on BPI (Business Process Improvement)/BPM (Business Process Modeling) best practices
  • Tackle complex problems and ability to come up with out-of-the-box ideas to find solutions
  • Support the client in achieving sustainable performance and/or improvements
  • Identify opportunities to provide or create additional client value
  • Effectively manage and develop trusted relationships with client sponsors and partners
  • Create and present executive-level reports, detailed updates, and final project readout presentations
  • Help support new business efforts through proposal builds, project estimates, SOWs (Statements of Work)
  • Help build practice management materials to support internal education and business development

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Well-versed in process excellence, passionate about clients, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions, and a willingness to travel up to 80% of the time across the US (primarily, but not limited to, Centric locations)
  • The ability to lead a project and drive it to completion within a scoped timeline, managing executive-level communications, meetings, and documentation
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to tailor an approach specifically based on the client’s needs
  • Ability to create unmatched experiences for both clients and employees. You should revel in doing the unexpected and extraordinary for others
  • Exposure to a variety of industries/markets
  • Minimum of eight (8+) years of experience in a variety of supply chain-related roles/projects
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in inventory management and warehouse operations processes
  • Hands-on experience with planning and supply chain methodologies
  • Comfortable functioning as either an individual contractor or in a team-based role
  • Proven problem-solving ability. Clients don’t come to us when the problem is easy. You should enjoy taking on the hard stuff
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Translating technical concepts into simple terms is an essential skill
  • Executive presence and ability to interact with all levels of a client’s organization
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools – including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, as well as Visio to create professional-looking presentations that are convincing, clear, and concise
  • Able to use objective and subjective information to drive solutions for complex business issues
  • Ability to guide the development of metrics and associated visuals to drive business results
  • Able to set priorities, estimate task durations, and establish a personal as well as team workplans and execute them effectively
  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) systems and how they are implemented and used
  • The following certifications/experience are strongly preferred:
  • Consulting experience is strongly preferred; however, you will be considered if you have strong industry background
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management) SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model experience
  • ASCM CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification or other ASCM certification
  • Manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience as an instructor for supply chain-related information
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) experience or certification
