Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is the most comprehensive mental health agency in the tri-state region serving adults with mental illness, addiction and related challenges. GCBHS is fully certified, nationally accredited, and is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization. GCBHS’ skilled staff provides an extensive and wide-ranging network of services for its clients, over 40% of whom have been diagnosed with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. About 50% have been diagnosed with a mood disorder such as major depression or bipolar disorder. Other GCBHS clients suffer from anxiety disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. GCBHS has been recognized nationally for ground-breaking its programs, including cutting-edge interventions and programs for people coming out of prison or going through local mental health courts, homeless outreach, and peer support programs.
