Job description

Location: Pakistan — Fully Remote
Employment: Full-time

Lead the team. Own the recruitment plan. Deliver the hires.

Can you turn a demanding hiring brief into a recruitment campaign that delivers? Sperton is looking for a Recruitment Project Manager to lead bulk recruitment for a large energy company in Qatar.

You will be the person who knows which roles need attention, where the candidate pipeline is falling behind, and what the team needs to deliver next. From assigning recruiters and reviewing shortlists to coordinating interviews and offers, you will drive the project forward and keep everyone working to the same plan.

If you have managed recruitment campaigns into the Middle East and enjoy bringing structure, pace and accountability to a busy recruitment operation, this is an opportunity to take real ownership.

Your Project

You will lead Sperton's recruitment work across multiple vacancies, from engineering and specialist positions to operations, technicians and support roles. Working with international recruiters and a local partner in Qatar, you will manage delivery from approved vacancy intake through candidate selection and handover for mobilisation.

What You Will Own

  • A clear recruitment plan: translate each hiring request into sourcing priorities, recruiter assignments, shortlist deadlines and interview schedules.
  • A team that delivers: set weekly targets, review recruiter workloads, coach the team and redirect resources when a campaign needs extra support.
  • Shortlists that meet the brief: check candidate fit, technical experience, credentials, motivation, salary expectations and availability before submission.
  • Progress from interview to acceptance: coordinate interviews, secure timely feedback, track offers and keep candidates engaged through the decision process.
  • A complete mobilisation handover: ensure the local partner receives accurate candidate documents, acceptance status, availability and outstanding actions for visas, medicals, travel and onboarding.
  • Reliable project reporting: maintain Teamtailor and a practical dashboard showing open roles, pipeline stages, overdue actions, shortlist delivery, offers, acceptances and hiring risks.
  • Fast resolution of bottlenecks: identify sourcing gaps, delayed feedback and candidate dropouts early, and put recovery actions in place.

What Success Looks Like

Every approved vacancy has an owner, a deadline and a credible candidate pipeline. Recruiters know their priorities. Shortlists arrive on time and meet the brief. Candidates receive clear communication, and management and the local partner have an accurate view of progress and risks.

The Experience You Need

  • Proven experience leading bulk or high-volume recruitment projects into the Middle East. You can explain the hiring volumes you handled, the team you led and the results you achieved.
  • Hands-on recruitment expertise: sourcing, screening, shortlist review, interview coordination and offer management.
  • Strong project leadership: managing several recruitment campaigns at once, assigning resources, tracking deadlines and resolving delivery issues.
  • Experience coordinating recruiters, sourcing partners and stakeholders across countries and time zones.
  • Confidence using an ATS, spreadsheets and recruitment metrics to make decisions and follow up on commitments.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, sound judgement and a practical approach to getting things done.

Bring Your AI Skills

Experience using AI and automation in recruitment is a strong advantage. You may have used these tools to improve sourcing searches, organise recruitment data, automate follow-ups or build better progress reports. We are interested in practical improvements that save recruiters time and improve delivery, with human review and careful handling of candidate information.

Experience in Qatar or other GCC markets, energy, oil and gas, LNG or technical recruitment would also be valuable, as would familiarity with international mobilisation requirements.

Why This Role?

  • Own a defined international recruitment project with clear responsibility for the team, the plan and delivery.
  • Work across markets with Sperton colleagues, recruitment specialists and a local delivery partner in Qatar.
  • Shape how the work gets done: improve recruitment workflows, introduce useful tools and make your team's results visible.
  • Work remotely from Pakistan while leading recruitment for a major energy-sector assignment.
