Yourgi Connect is our booking and payments software for independent pet care businesses: dog walkers, sitters, boarders and daycares. It gives them their own website, online booking, payments and simple marketing tools, so they can grow on their own terms. Think OpenTable or Mindbody, built for pet care.

As an Account Executive, you'll sell Yourgi Connect to established pet care businesses, from owner-operators doing $50K–$200K a year to growing teams. You'll work any leads from our research and marketing teams, source your own, run demos, and close. The product is still being built and refined, so you'll sell the vision, bring customer feedback back to the team, and help shape how we sell and improve the product.

This role is for a hustler/hunter who loves to speak directly with small business owners, moves fast, and is motivated by hitting targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect & Book (35%)
  • Work leads from our research team and marketing, and source your own through social, local networks and referrals
  • Run multi-touch outreach by phone, text, email and social networking to reach busy owner-operators
  • Keep a full calendar of qualified demos
• Demo & Close (50%)
  • Run demos that show owners how Connect helps them win and keep clients
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms and get contracts signed
  • Follow up fast, with personalized touches that keep deals moving
• Hand Off & Grow (5%)
  • Hand signed customers to our Activation & Success team with clean notes so they go live quickly
  • Stay close to your accounts for referrals and expansion to more staff or locations
• Pipeline & Feedback (10%)
  • Keep HubSpot up to date: every call, demo and deal stage
  • Report on pipeline and weekly forecast
  • Share what prospects are asking for and what's costing us deals with Product and leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally selling SaaS to small businesses
• Experience selling booking, scheduling or payments software (e.g., Mindbody, OpenTable, Boulevard, Booksy, Square, Toast), and/or at an early-stage startup
• A track record of hitting or beating targets
• Comfortable with an "all hands-on deck" startup mindset: no task is too difficult or too easy
• Passion for pets and for helping small business owners grow
• Bonus: experience in the pet care industry

SKILLS:

• Proven success selling software to small, owner-operated businesses
• Comfortably selling a product that's still being built you can sell the vision and turn early feedback into momentum
• Strong on the phone and in demos, with real empathy for small business owners
• Persistent and organized follow-up

SUCCESS METRICS:

First 1 Week

• Know the product, our customers and our pitch well enough to run demos on your own
• Working your pipeline in HubSpot daily
• Running live demos and selling by day 5

First 2 Weeks

• First deals closed
• Full calendar of qualified demos every week

First 60 Days

• Hitting your monthly target for closed deals
• Consistent weekly demo volume
• Your feedback has shaped at least one change to our pitch, pricing or product

• Comfortable in HubSpot or a similar CRM
