Job description

👋 Who are we?

Nordhealth (OB:NORDH) is the leading provider of cloud-based Practice Information Management Software (PIMS) to veterinary and therapy professionals.

Over the last three years, we have grown our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and team size by almost 10x. Today, more than 30,000 therapy and veterinary professionals use our software everyday to help treat over 20 million patients annually across 55+ countries. It’s been an exciting growth journey so far and we are just getting started. Our mission is to enable healthcare professionals to deliver better patient care through software, with a goal to help serve over 200 million patients by 2030. In support of this growth mission, in May 2021, Nordhealth raised €120M through a public-listing on Euronext Growth Oslo stock exchange.

Nordhealth is a remote-first company, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. Our 430+ employees work either remotely or from offices/collaboration hubs. While our market presence is currently strongest in the Nordics, our customer base is rapidly growing in North America and Europe, with clients in the US, UK, Spain, Latin America, Australia, and many others. About the role

We are here to create great healthcare products. That’s at our very core, but it’s the people who make companies great, not the other way around. We spend more time with our co-workers than anyone else in our lives. Being part of an exceptional team is not only important for your personal mindfulness but key for your professional progression.

Go-to-market needs to be rewritten. Most companies still run it on a patchwork of tools. We think there’s a better way: build the go-to-market engine the way you build a product, from first principles, with real engineering.

That’s where you come in. As our GTM Software Engineer, you’ll report directly to our VP Marketing (a former engineer) to build the GTM operating system. You'll work side by side with the full team (CEO, marketing, engineering, sales and others) to incrementally build the OS and make it better and better.

This isn't one of those GTM engineering which just means wiring tools together. This role involves designing systems, writing production code, and owning them end to end to build the machine.

You’ll ship very fast and iteratively. Your first projects will go live in days, not months. If you want super high levels of ownership and you love driving results fast, this role is for you. If you prefer to work in large engineering teams to set schedules, this role is not for you.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Build our global GTM operating system. Work your way through our processes one-by-one to build a set of features that will eventually turn into a revolutionary OS that runs how the GTM team works. Your output will, amongst other things, help us target the right customers, at the right time, in the most efficient and effective way.

  • Build our GTM brain. Unify our data and intelligence across all markets to create one source of truth for the whole team to work off.

  • Build new growth paths. Work with our design, product and onboarding teams to build self-serve paths into our app. You'll obsess over the user experience alongside our design team. You'll work directly in the codebase and ship things that get used every single day.

  • Keep the engine running. Own what you ship, from monitoring and documentation to fixes and improvements.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:

  • You love taking ownership to ship end to end, from design to deployment

  • You solve problems from first principles, think in systems, and question how things have always been done

  • You work iteratively. You ship the smallest thing that delivers maximum value then move to the next thing

  • You thrive in a very fast pace and ship quickly without cutting corners on quality - you take immense pride in your work

  • You're happy building an internal app one week and a data pipeline the next - you think of the bigger picture rather than staying in a lane

  • You talk to your users to build what actually moves the needle

  • You're an engineer and a commercial thinker. You care about pipeline, revenue and customers as much as clean code

  • You're comfortable working with non-engineers and explaining technical trade-offs simply

  • Fluent English

What’s in it for you?

At Nordhealth, we do things a little bit differently. We value continuous improvement, diverse teams and autonomy which drive our collaboration. Our global healthcare domain is rapidly developing and we are seeking colleagues who enjoy working in this type of environment. 🌎

In addition, we offer:

  • The chance to work in a meaningful industry and in a fast-growing, global company on a path to changing digital healthcare

  • Competitive compensation and benefits

  • Learning and professional growth opportunities

  • The tools you need, and enjoy using

  • Frequent company events and talented colleagues from around the world

If you enjoy working in a fast-growing and international environment with the possibility to make an impact, this might be the perfect job for you. Apply now! We'll fill the position as soon as we find the right person.
