Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer capable of supporting both a Data Engineering initiative and a web application development project. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of data pipelines and application functionality across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Validate data ingestion, transformation, and data quality processes
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications
• Validate data accuracy across source systems and target environments
• Work closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve defects
• Support user acceptance testing activities
• Document and track defects through resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release readiness reviews
• Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable

Workplace: Remote based role in LATAM, preferably in Argentina

Must Have Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience testing web applications and APIs
• Experience validating data pipelines, ETL processes, or analytics platforms
• Strong SQL skills for data validation
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS-based data platforms
• Experience testing data lake or Medallion Architecture implementations
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of data quality testing methodologies

• Excellent English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills - Upper intermediate B2 required
