Senior Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and improve our new CI/CD solutions. The chosen candidate will be responsible for enhancing and automating manual workflows and crafting effective documentation and runbooks. This role requires a proactive individual capable of investigating existing systems, independently making decisions, and interfacing directly with customers to present tailored solutions. Responsibilities Design and develop new CI/CD solutions to enhance business operations Automate fragmental and predominantly manual workflows Write comprehensive documentation and runbooks for newly implemented technologies Investigate and identify issues within the existing CI/CD solutions Propose and implement improvements without direct supervision Present and explain solution decisions directly to customers Provide ideas and recommendations for various automation projects Requirements Proficiency in CI/CD concepts, including knowledge of recent market trends, common pitfalls, and best practices 3+ years of hands-on experience administering complex CI/CD solutions Production-level expertise in AWS and VMware Competency in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Skills in Bash, Powershell, and Python scripting Knowledge of Ansible and Hashicorp tools including Terraform, Packer, Vault, and Consul Understanding of version control workflows with Git and Perforce Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with customers Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level Nice to have Prior experience with large-scale automation projects Certifications in AWS, VMware, or Kubernetes management Familiarity with additional scripting or programming languages
