Job description

Join a growing technology company whose location analytics platform helps retailers, real estate businesses and other organizations understand places, markets and consumer behavior. The team turns complex data into practical decisions while keeping privacy at the center of its work.

You will own the details that keep the order-to-cash cycle moving: accurate invoices, timely collections and reliable reporting. Working closely with Accounting, you will have room to solve problems independently and help improve how the team works.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

• Own accurate invoicing: validate Salesforce sales orders against signed order forms, review invoices and tax treatment in Avalara, and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Make payment easy for customers: complete vendor registrations, submit e-invoices through procurement platforms such as Ariba and Coupa, and maintain tax exemption certificates.

• Keep cash moving: prioritize collection activity, send overdue notices, contact customers to understand payment delays, and maintain clear records of every interaction.

• Handle credit risk with sound judgment: issue credit-hold notices, disable platform access when payment is unlikely, and recommend collection-agency referrals or bad-debt write-offs when needed.

• Connect the teams: answer billing inquiries and work with Sales Operations, Customer Success and Deal Desk on billing and revenue questions.

• Close with confidence: reconcile monthly billing between Salesforce and NetSuite, support the revenue and technical accounting teams, and prepare documentation for audits.

• Improve how the team works: identify better ways to handle the Virtual Post Mail process and contribute to ad-hoc accounting and finance projects.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Fully remote work from Colombia.

• A hands-on role with a direct impact on cash collection and the customer experience.

• Collaboration with an experienced team in a growing technology business.

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in collections, invoicing and/or accounts receivable.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and NetSuite, plus e-invoicing platforms such as Ariba or Coupa.

• Knowledge of Avalara or a similar tax platform, and an understanding of the full order-to-cash cycle.

• Confidence using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.

• A customer-service mindset and the ability to work across teams, manage deadlines and communicate proactively in a remote environment.
