• R Engineer / Application Developer – Regression Analytics

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced R Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of Regression Analysis solutions. The role will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and the CT Delivery team to implement approved Azure DevOps (ADO) user stories, develop technical solutions, perform testing activities, resolve defects, and support production releases.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in R programming, application development,and analytical solution delivery, with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Requirements Analysis
• Analyze business requirements and approved ADO user stories.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify functional and technical requirements.
• Contribute to application and analytical solution architecture discussions.

Development

• Develop and maintain regression analysis and statistical solutions using R.
• Build and enhance application components, including UI functionality using React and related web technologies where applicable.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and adherence to development standards.
• Participate in peer reviews and code quality assessments.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Create and execute unit tests for developed components.
• Support technical, functional, and regression testing activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across development and testing phases.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure successful validation of delivered functionality.
• Perform post-release validation and issue resolution.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, test documentation, and support materials.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for support teams and stakeholders.
• Support ongoing application maintenance and operational readiness activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in R Programming and statistical modeling.
• Experience implementing Regression Analysis solutions.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, user stories, and defect tracking.
• Experience with React, JavaScript, and modern web application development.
• Strong understanding of unit testing and regression testing practices.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization and reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in enterprise analytics or data-driven application environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and deployment processes.
• Primary Focus: R Development, Regression Analytics, Application Development, Automated/Technical Testing, Defect Resolution, and Release Support.
