Migration Data Quality Consultant

Mission Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Migration & Data Quality Consultant to join our consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. In this role, you will plan, execute, and govern data migration activities while ensuring high data quality across SAP landscapes. You will design migration strategies, cleanse and validate legacy data, and build robust data quality controls to support SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations and new SAP implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration Quality Responsibilities:

• Analyze legacy data and define data scope, objects, and transformation rules.
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and reconciliation in a SAP Insurance environment.
• Perform data reconciliation between legacy and target SAP Insurance systems.
• Define and implement data quality rules, metrics, and controls.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and master data issues.
• Support data governance frameworks and master data ownership models.
• Collaborate with business data owners to improve data standards and processes.
• Prepare and maintain data quality dashboards and reports.

Technical / Development Responsibilities:

• Develop ABAP programs for data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Create data transformation logic and mapping documents.
• Build error-handling and logging mechanisms for migration programs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong experience in Data migration and data quality management.
• Solid knowledge of SAP master and transactional data objects.
• Solid experience in one of the core insurance modules FS-PM or FS-CM.
• Experience in data reconciliation and audit support.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP/ABAP OO for data manipulation and mass processing.
• Experience with ETL/migration tools (e.g. msg.AIM, LSMW, Data Services) and techniques for high-volume data loading.
• Expertise in data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation reporting.
• Meticulous attention to detail regarding data quality and consistency checks.
• Strong ABAP development skills for migration and data validation.
• Professional Experience: 3+ years of Data migration experience, 3+ years in data migration and quality, 3+ years in SAP Core insurance module like SAP FS-PM or FS-CM.
• Experience working in large-scale or complex SAP landscapes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and cutover pressure.

Language:

• Good English.
• Nice to have French.
