Data & AI Presales Solutions Architect | About You

As a Data & AI Presales Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape Data, Analytics, Cloud, and AI transformation strategies while supporting strategic sales pursuits and account growth. You will partner closely with sales, practice, engineering, and delivery teams to understand client challenges, define solution architectures, develop roadmaps and proposals, and communicate the business value of modern technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, and Generative AI. The ideal candidate combines deep technical architecture expertise with strong consulting, executive communication, commercial solutioning, and client-facing presales experience.

Data & AI Presales Solutions Architect | Day-to-Day

• Lead client discovery workshops, assessments, technical strategy sessions, and solution design discussions to understand business objectives, technology landscapes, and transformation priorities.
• Translate business challenges into scalable Data & AI architectures, modernization strategies, solution roadmaps, and implementation approaches across data engineering, analytics, governance, cloud, and AI.
• Design and present solutions leveraging technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, and GCP, selecting platforms and architectural patterns based on client requirements.
• Lead technical aspects of presales pursuits, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, SOWs, estimates, architecture diagrams, PoCs, demonstrations, and executive presentations.
• Partner with sales and account teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle to strengthen technical positioning, address client questions, identify expansion opportunities, and support successful deal closure.
• Advise clients on modern data platforms, lakehouse architectures, data governance, data quality, analytics, GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and MLOps capabilities and adoption strategies.
• Contribute to reusable solution frameworks, accelerators, reference architectures, offerings, and thought leadership that strengthen Data & AI go-to-market capabilities.

Data & AI Presales Solutions Architect | Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience across Data, Analytics, AI, Cloud, Solution Architecture, or Technology Consulting, including at least 5+ years in customer-facing presales, solution consulting, or technical sales roles.
• Proven experience leading client discovery, solution architecture, technical assessments, PoCs, executive presentations, proposal development, estimation, and SOW creation for complex technology opportunities.
• Strong architecture experience across modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, or GCP, including data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Governance, Data Quality, cloud modernization, and enterprise data architecture, with the ability to recommend appropriate platforms and solution patterns.
• Experience solutioning AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities, including GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, MLOps, enterprise AI applications, or AI-enabled data solutions.
• Exceptional client advisory, executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for CIO, CDO, engineering, architecture, and business audiences.
