Job description

 OVERVIEW

Releady is partnering with a leading healthcare technology company to hire a Principal, Technical Program Manager who take software products from development to market. This organization provides an AI-powered data and integration platform to nonprofit, community, and regional health plans, and it is in the middle of a deliberate transformation into a commercial health technology company. These hires will lead the launch of its flagship data platform and its API integration product.

In this role, you will make sure that what the company builds is what it can sell, deliver, and support. You will own programs that span Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Security, and external partners, and you will build the delivery systems, metrics, and governance that do not yet exist. This role is for a builder who brings order to ambiguity, drives decisions to closure, and measures success by what ships.

*Must be eligible to work on W2 without sponsorship. Not eligible for C2C.

  • Pay Rate: $75–$80/hr
  • Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
  • Location: Hybrid or Remote, however must reside in the following states: WA, OH, CA, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, MD, MN, NV, OR, AL, IL, VA, WI, TX, NY
  RESPONSIBILITIES Product Delivery to Market
  • Own data and API product programs end to end, from requirements through release, launch, and customer adoption.
  • Align roadmaps, release schedules, and launch plans so engineering milestones match go-to-market commitments.
  • Define and drive launch readiness, including quality gates, documentation, security and compliance sign-off, support readiness, and sales enablement.
  • Translate customer and sales commitments into clear technical requirements, and push back early when promises outrun what can be built.

Build the Operating System

  • Design delivery processes, KPIs, dashboards, and governance from the ground up rather than inheriting a PMO playbook.
  • Run operating rhythms such as planning, launch reviews, risk reviews, and retrospectives using tools such as Linear and Notion.
  • Establish clear owners and dates for every deliverable, risk, and decision, and call out slips directly with facts and impact.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Align teams with competing priorities around a single plan, and keep decisions moving without getting pulled into internal politics.
  • Tailor communication to each audience, from technical detail for engineers to concise risk summaries for executives.
  • Partner with engineers on data, API, and architecture tradeoffs, and use AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting.
  QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of technical program management or product delivery experience, including shipping software products to external customers.
  • Track record of building program management systems, KPIs, and governance from scratch in a high-growth or transforming organization.
  • Strong technical fluency in APIs, data platforms, system design, CI/CD, and the SDLC; able to write precise technical requirements.
  • Experience launching products with Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success teams; healthcare technology go-to-market strongly preferred.
  • Fluent with modern AI tools, with the judgment to validate what they produce.
  • Experience with Linear and/or Notion strongly preferred; Jira or similar Agile tools required.
  • Preferred: B2B or enterprise SaaS, data or integration platform products, HIPAA-regulated environments, and a prior software engineering background.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or other non-merit factor.
