Job description

You are an engineer on the Sales team who turns VIDIZMO demos into working results on the customer's own data, systems and cameras. Pre-sales engineers show what the product can do. You go further: you get it running in the customer's environment during trials and paid pilots, build the integrations and workflows that prove the use case, and hand a working solution to the delivery team when the deal closes.

This is a customer-facing role. You report into Sales, work alongside account executives, partners and the pre-sales team, and your success is measured by pilots that convert into deals. You are not on the product engineering team and you do not own the product roadmap.

About VIDIZMO

VIDIZMO is an enterprise AI software company, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia. We help public-sector and regulated organizations search, secure, redact, analyze and share video, audio, images and documents, in the cloud, on-premises or fully air-gapped, with data and AI models kept inside the customer's boundary.

  • Nexus: the governed, AI-searchable content platform every deployment runs on. Digital Evidence Management (DEMS) and the Enterprise Video Platform (EnterpriseTube) are built on it.
  • AI Intelligence Hub: agentic, multimodal AI that analyzes video, audio, images and documents together and returns sourced, cited answers, with no-code workflows.
  • AI Live Insight: real-time video analytics on the IP cameras and VMS customers already own (RTSP/ONVIF), with alerts for weapons, plates, PPE, crowds and trespassing.
  • Redactor: AI redaction of faces, plates and spoken or written personal data across video, audio, images and documents, at bulk scale.

Over 100 organizations use VIDIZMO across public safety and justice, government, healthcare, financial services, legal, education, transit, manufacturing and energy. VIDIZMO is a Gartner Magic Quadrant Challenger, an IDC MarketScape Major Player, an NVIDIA Inception partner, a Microsoft Solutions Partner and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified.

What you'll do

Pre-sales (with the account team)

  • Join discovery calls to understand the customer's data, systems, security rules and success criteria, and turn them into a written pilot scope.
  • Run technical demos on the customer's own content, not just canned data, and log every demo and pilot on the deal in HubSpot.
  • Answer technical questions from customers and partners within one working day.
  • Contribute the technical and architecture sections of RFPs, bids and security questionnaires (CJIS, HIPAA, SOC 2-style, ISO 27001-based reviews).

Forward deployment

  • Stand up trial portals and paid pilots in the customer's chosen environment: VIDIZMO SaaS, their Azure, AWS or GCP tenant, on-premises or air-gapped.
  • Connect VIDIZMO to the customer's systems during the pilot: SSO (SAML, OIDC, Entra ID, Okta), SCIM provisioning, storage, Teams/Zoom, LMS, CRM, ServiceNow and records systems.
  • Build the integrations, scripts and configurations a pilot needs, using our REST APIs, webhooks and connectors, for example moving video automatically from a partner or customer system into Nexus.
  • Onboard customer cameras and VMS streams into AI Live Insight, tune detections and alert routing, and size GPU needs for production.
  • Build no-code and low-code workflows in AI Intelligence Hub on customer data, and set up Redactor policies and confidence thresholds for the customer's use case.
  • Track pilot success criteria, report progress to the customer and account team weekly, and remove blockers without being chased.

Handover and feedback

  • Hand closed deals to the delivery and support teams with a clear record of what was configured, built and agreed.
  • Turn repeated pilot work into reusable scripts, templates and playbooks for the pre-sales team.
  • Pass customer requests and product gaps to product management with evidence, without building product features yourself.
  • Represent VIDIZMO at customer workshops, trade shows and on-site pilots when needed.
  • Use Claude or a similar AI assistant every day for technical research, scripting, questionnaire drafting and documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
  • [3–6] years' experience, including hands-on development and at least 1 year in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, solutions engineering, implementation or TAM), in any industry.
  • Write working code (Python, C#/.NET or JavaScript) and build integrations with REST APIs and webhooks.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot on Azure or AWS, on-premises and air-gapped, including SSO (SAML, OIDC, Entra ID) and basic networking.
  • Practical AI knowledge (LLMs, RAG, hallucination, computer vision, speech-to-text), and familiarity with video tech or willingness to learn it.
  • Awareness of compliance frameworks such as CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP and GDPR.
  • Excellent English and confidence leading technical calls with US customers.
  • Daily use of Claude or other AI tools to automate your own work.
  • 10–20% support for outbound sales activity, including some cold calling.
  • Reliable internet, a professional call space, and authorization to work in Pakistan.

What Sets You Apart

You explain complex technology simply, answer technical questions quickly and accurately, and keep pilots moving without being chased. You use AI to research and draft faster, and you take ownership with minimal supervision.

Start date: As soon as possible. Candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days will be prioritized.

How You're Paid
This role includes a monthly salary plus performance-based commission.

Benefits

Health insurance (OPD/IPD), maternity coverage, leave encashment, referral bonus, EOBI, yearly increments, provident fund, bonus and career growth opportunities. Benefits vary by location.
