As the company scales, it is building out its growth function from the ground up and looking for a hands-on, strategic leader to accelerate customer acquisition and optimize marketing performance.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Growth & Performance Marketing to own customer acquisition and marketing performance across channels. You’ll work closely with Product, Data, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure growth initiatives are aligned with business goals, while managing performance marketing budgets and leading a growth marketing team.
This is a hands-on, strategic role. We’re looking for someone who can build and scale the growth function, take full ownership of ROI and business outcomes, and use data to make sound decisions quickly.
Location: 100% remote. Candidates must reside in South America.
Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Acquisition
- Develop and execute multi-channel growth strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue
- Own performance across paid search, paid social, display, affiliate, influencer, and partnership channels
- Identify and test new acquisition opportunities to drive scalable growth
- Build and optimize marketing funnels to improve conversion rates throughout the customer journey
Performance Marketing
- Manage monthly performance marketing budgets of $50,000+, with accountability for ROI and business outcomes
- Lead campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms
- Continuously optimize campaigns to achieve CAC, CPL, and ROAS targets
- Implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to drive performance improvements
Analytics & Reporting
- Establish growth KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting processes
- Analyze customer acquisition data and develop actionable recommendations
- Partner with Product, Data, Risk, and Operations teams to align growth initiatives with business goals
- Utilize tools such as Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Mixpanel, HubSpot, and CRM systems
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the growth marketing team
- Build and scale the growth function as the business grows
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or customer acquisition roles
- 3+ years in a leadership position managing growth marketing teams
- Proven experience managing monthly marketing budgets of at least $50,000, with measurable success in scaling customer acquisition
- Strong expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, paid social, paid search, and conversion optimization
- Deep understanding of attribution modeling, funnel analytics, and marketing performance measurement
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Residence in South America
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, lending, banking, consumer finance, Insurtech, or financial services
- Familiarity with regulated marketing environments and compliance requirements
- Experience managing six-figure monthly marketing budgets
- Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, and advanced audience segmentation
What Success Looks Like
- Hit or exceed CAC, CPL, and ROAS targets while scaling acquisition
- Maintain clear, accurate KPIs and dashboards that give the business full visibility into growth performance
- Run a consistent cadence of experiments and turn the results into concrete improvements
- Identify and launch new acquisition channels that scale profitably
- Align closely with Product, Data, Risk, and Operations so growth initiatives support broader business goals
- Build a high-performing growth team and a function that scales with the business
