Fractional Finance Manager

📍 Remote (Cape Town area) 💰 R600k-R780k per year 🚀 Client-facing role in a fast-paced, AI-driven accounting environment 💡 Own finance delivery for a portfolio of UK ecommerce & tech clients, while helping build a scalable, tech-enabled accounting function   Introduction: A fast-growing, technology-enabled UK accounting firm supporting UK startups is seeking a Fractional Finance Manager to join its global team.   This role combines hands-on finance delivery with client ownership, offering exposure to a portfolio of scaling businesses. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting clients with actionable financial insights, while contributing to a highly collaborative, high-performance remote culture.   The candidate must be based in Cape Town and able to align with UK working hours.   Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of a group of client accounts, ensuring everything runs smoothly from a finance perspective
• Translate financial data into clear, practical insights that clients can actually use to make decisions
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building trust and handling queries proactively
• Oversee the quality of outputs across your portfolio, stepping in where needed to stay on track
• Support and guide junior team members, helping them improve and deliver consistently
• Identify inefficiencies and help streamline processes using tools, automation, and AI
• Stay on top of deadlines and priorities in a fast-moving, multi-client environment

  Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified CA (SA) or equivalent with 3+ years of experience
• Strong grounding in accounting and experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
• Confident communicator, able to work directly with clients in a clear, concise, and proactive way
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and Excel
• Interest in technology-enabled finance solutions and modern accounting systems.
• Exposure to UK accounting standards is advantageous.

  Salary:

• R600,000-R780,000 CTC / year (based on relevant experience)
