As a leading copper producer, Taseko recognizes and delivers enduring opportunity through developing and operating world-class copper mines and mineral properties in British Columbia and Arizona. Taseko’s corporate strategy is to grow the company sustainably and profitably by focusing on the continued operations of the Company’s foundational asset, the Gibraltar Mine, while also developing its pipeline of high-quality advanced- stage development projects. The long-life, low-cost Gibraltar copper mine (75% owned) located in south-central BC, is a state-of-the-art facility that has won numerous environmental and safety awards for operational excellence. It is second largest open pit copper mine in Canada, producing an average of 130 million pounds of copper and 2.5 million pounds of molybdenum per year, and supporting a 700+ person workforce. Taseko is also advancing the Florence Copper project in Arizona – a near-term copper producer with an unparalleled energy, water and GHG profile per unit of production.
