Your Role

  • Deliver advanced technical and application support to business clients in French and English via ticketing systems, email, and scheduled calls.
  • Investigate and resolve software issues, database integrity problems, and transaction failures by querying and analyzing relational databases with SQL.
  • Formulate, review, and execute SQL scripts and queries (e.g., joins, updates, index checks) to inspect data pipelines and correct application records safely.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring platform bugs, system errors, and data discrepancies.
  • Document findings, reproduction steps, and technical workarounds clearly within enterprise ticketing platforms (such as Jira or ServiceNow).
  • Collaborate directly with software development, QA, and tier-three engineering teams to resolve underlying code defects.
  • Uphold strict data governance, system security, and client data confidentiality policies.

Your Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in French (C1/C2 level) with strong technical and business communication skills.
  • Solid command of English (B2 level or higher) for internal collaboration and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle).
  • Proven experience in technical support (Tier 2/3), application support, database administration, or systems analysis.
  • Strong diagnostic mindset with the ability to read system logs, identify stack traces, and isolate software defects.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, APIs (REST/JSON), and enterprise operating environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage complex technical investigations effectively.
  • Residing in Portugal and available to visit the Porto office campus as needed.

The Offer

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model based out of Porto, Portugal (primarily remote work with approximately 1 to 2 visits per quarter to the Porto office hub for team syncs and operational sessions).
  • Schedule: Standard business schedule, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (weekends off).
  • Compensation & Benefits: Competitive monthly salary package aligned with specialized technical skills, performance-based bonuses, daily meal allowances via meal card, and comprehensive private health and dental insurance.
  • Relocation Package: Comprehensive relocation support available for eligible candidates moving to Portugal (including travel assistance and initial accommodation options).
