Position: Chemicals Safety for Redteaming
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$75 per task
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry, labeled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.
• Evaluate responses against a defined policy standard and judge correctness.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Ensure calibration between mechanism and procedure in chemistry prompts.
• Provide written rationales for judgments that non-specialists can follow.
• Read and write about misuse scenarios in chemistry for sustained periods.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience in synthesis, analytical chemistry, or chemical safety.
• Experience in technical writing, published research, or as an expert witness.

Preferred

• Prior AI red-teaming or model evaluation experience.
