Overview

The Manager, US Commercial Analytics is a hands-on analytical role responsible for delivering actionable regional, territory, and account-level insights that drive Amtagvi and Proleukin commercial performance. As the primary analytics partner to the US field organization, you will translate business questions into analyses, build dashboards and analytical models, and recommend actions that improve field deployment, targeting, and engagement across the growing network of Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs). You will connect commercial demand signals with operational execution, supporting both current marketed products and upcoming indication launches. This opportunity is suited to an experienced analyst from a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company or a consulting role serving these clients who wants to own analytical work from business question through recommendation and follow-up.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Sub-National & Territory Analytics

  • Design, build, and maintain territory-level performance dashboards and scorecards for the US field organization, incorporating ATC-level infusion data, referral patterns, and patient flow metrics
  • Develop and execute sub-national analyses including geographic demand modeling, ATC penetration analytics, and regional market opportunity assessments
  • Perform territory alignment and optimization analyses to support field force deployment decisions as the ATC network scales beyond 110 centers
  • Create ATC-level performance profiles integrating specialty pharmacy data, claims data, patient hub data, and CRM activity to identify growth opportunities and underperforming territories
  • Deliver ad-hoc analytical support to Regional Business Directors and Account Managers: clarify the business question, select the analytical approach, validate findings, and translate results into actionable territory-level recommendations; follow up with business partners to assess decisions and outcomes

Field Force Effectiveness

  • Design and manage field force effectiveness measurement frameworks, including call activity analytics, reach and frequency optimization, and engagement scoring for ATC-based selling
  • Develop targeting and segmentation models for the ATC network, incorporating physician-level prescribing potential, patient referral patterns, and competitive dynamics
  • Support incentive compensation plan design, modeling, and quarterly payout calculations in partnership with Sales Operations and HR
  • Build and maintain call planning tools and next-best-action frameworks tailored to the unique cell therapy commercial model
  • Conduct field force sizing and structure analyses to inform deployment decisions for new indication launches (NSCLC, endometrial cancer, sarcomas)

Data Management & Reporting

  • Partner with the Commercial Data & Reporting Systems team to ensure data quality, timeliness, and integration across commercial data sources (IQVIA, specialty pharmacy, claims, patient hub, CRM)
  • Develop automated reporting workflows that reduce manual effort and improve consistency of field-facing analytics deliverables; document metric definitions, analytical assumptions, and validation checks so results are reliable and reproducible
  • Ensure all analytics outputs comply with HIPAA requirements and Iovance data governance standards; support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for data assets that inform manufacturing or supply decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the analytics voice in weekly and monthly commercial operations reviews, presenting territory-level performance trends and field effectiveness insights to senior leadership
  • Partner with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to align field analytics with brand strategy, payer access dynamics, and ATC engagement plans
  • Support commercial planning processes including Plan of Action (POA) meetings, national sales meetings, and annual business planning with data-driven insights

Travel – up to 10%; occasional travel to field meetings and national conferences

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, mathematics, data science, life sciences, or related field)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial analytics, sales operations analytics, or field force effectiveness, gained within biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies, in consulting roles delivering comparable analytics for biotechnology or pharmaceutical clients, or through a combination of both. Consulting experience must include hands-on analytical delivery in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience analyzing regional, territory, or account-level commercial performance and applying findings to targeting, segmentation, territory alignment, or field effectiveness decisions; ability to explain the business question, analytical approach, recommendation, and resulting decision or outcome
  • Hands-on proficiency using SQL or an equivalent query tool to extract, join, validate, and analyze large datasets; advanced Excel skills; and experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or an equivalent visualization platform
  • Practical experience combining and interpreting relevant pharmaceutical commercial data, such as IQVIA or comparable syndicated data, medical or pharmacy claims, specialty pharmacy data, patient hub data, and customer relationship management (CRM) activity; understanding of data coverage, reporting delays, and limitations. Experience with every listed source or a specific vendor is not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for field leadership
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment
