Job description

Who We Are

AvantStay delivers world class, authentic, tech-enabled short-term rental (“STR”) group experiences targeted at the millennial generation. We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry. We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Growth Analyst who gets things done. There’s a long list of projects waiting for this person: listings to audit and fix across hundreds of properties, hotel performance to improve, campaigns to launch, and reports that still run by hand and shouldn’t. You’ll use data to decide what to work on first, then do the work yourself and measure what changed. You’re comfortable in spreadsheets and in the Airbnb, Vrbo and Expedia extranets, you use AI tools every day to build automations and reporting, and you’d rather ship a working version this week than a perfect one next month. You’ll report to our VP of Growth and work closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, Listings and Operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a queue of growth projects across listings, hotels and campaigns, and move them from idea to done.

  • Audit listing performance on Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia, Booking.com and our direct site, then make the changes: titles, descriptions, photo order, amenities and anything else that moves search rank and conversion.

  • Monitor the portfolio continuously, flag the properties and hotels that need attention first, and fix them.

  • Dig into hotel and property performance to find revenue, visibility, conversion and guest engagement opportunities, and act on them.

  • Create, launch and measure marketing campaigns across channels.

  • Build automations and reporting with Claude, ChatGPT and our internal AI tools so the team spends less time pulling data and more time acting on it, then keep improving them.

  • Maintain the reporting the team runs on: KPIs, trends, dashboards and weekly performance reviews.

  • Partner with Marketing, Revenue Management, Listings, Operations and other teams to get initiatives shipped.

  • Share findings and recommendations clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Document repeatable processes and operating procedures so the work scales.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • A track record of finishing. You’ve carried a backlog of projects across the line, not just analyzed them.

  • 2+ years in growth, data analysis, revenue management, portfolio management or a related role preferred.

  • Hands-on OTA experience with Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia or Booking.com, and a working understanding of what moves listing rank and conversion.

  • Daily use of AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, with automations, reports or workflows you’ve built that you can walk through.

  • Strong spreadsheet skills and experience building dashboards or reports from raw performance data.

  • Experience creating and running marketing campaigns and measuring the results.

  • Strong analytical skills, and a habit of asking “so what” before sharing a number.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, strong organization and attention to detail.

  • The ability to juggle several projects at once without dropping any.

  • Nice to have: hospitality, short-term rental, travel or ecommerce experience; hotel or portfolio performance analysis; SQL or BigQuery; conversion optimization.

Logistics

  • This role is only open to global candidates outside the United States

  • Must be able to work US business hours (Pacific, Central, or Eastern time)

  • Must have excellent written and spoken English (near-native)

  • Fully remote

  • Generous paid time off
