Your Role

We’re hiring a Manager, 3PL Warehouse Operations to lead our global 3PL warehousing network. You’ll own our partner relationships, keep inventory data accurate across every site and make sure the gear athletes and coaches count on gets where it needs to go. You’ll also lead a team of direct reports and help them grow.

As the Manager, 3PL Warehouse Operations, you’ll:

  • Own our 3PL partnerships. You’ll be the main point of contact for our global 3PL partners. That means leading operational reviews, resolving escalations and onboarding new partners from site setup to go-live.
  • Keep operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns across all sites. You’ll also plan for peak season and validate 3PL invoices against contracted rates.
  • Hold partners accountable. You’ll track SLAs and KPIs, dig into performance data to find root causes and present results to Logistics leadership. You’ll also lead quarterly business reviews with the Director of Global Logistics.
  • Protect data accuracy. You’ll own inventory accuracy through cycle counting and work with our Business Operations Process Technology team on the OMS, ERP and EDI/API connections that keep inventory visible.
  • Lead and develop your team. You’ll set clear goals, give regular feedback and support career growth. You’ll also partner with inventory control, demand planning, transportation, compliance and accounting to keep everyone aligned.

Location

Time spent collaborating with your teammates in-person will be an integral part of your work. This role is open to candidates based in Chicago, Ill., and requires working on-site at our Chicago 3PL warehouse at least three days per week.

Must-Haves

  • Experienced. You have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related field and seven or more years in warehouse operations, 3PL management or supply chain logistics.
  • A relationship owner. You’ve managed external 3PL or logistics service provider relationships at a senior level. You know how to build KPI scorecards and hold partners to their SLAs.
  • A people leader. You’ve managed and developed direct reports, and you’re good at setting goals and giving feedback.
  • Data-minded. You’re familiar with WMS and ERP platforms and EDI/API integrations. You can turn operational data into clear improvements and explain them well

Nice-to-Haves

  • Network experience. You’ve managed a multi-site or multi-region 3PL network.
  • Continuous improvement know-how. You’re familiar with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods.
  • Commercial skills. You’ve negotiated contracts and managed logistics service agreements.
  • Advanced education. You have an MBA or other advanced degree in a related field.
  • Willing to travel. This role requires a bit of travel, ~ 10% of the year.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too. Plus, every five years, we give you a paid sabbatical to unplug and recharge.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We're always investing in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Take care of your mental and physical health. Medical plans tailored for you and your family—including vision, dental, and fertility benefits—and stay supported with our EAP and Employee Resource Groups.
