Position Summary

MDI NetworX is seeking a motivated Account Executive to help drive growth across the healthcare payer and provider markets. Working closely with the Sales Director, this role will generate and qualify new opportunities, lead discovery conversations with prospective clients, and help advance deals from first conversation through signed contract.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a sales professional early in their career to develop expertise in complex, consultative B2B healthcare sales, with a clear path toward a senior or enterprise account role.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prospect and generate new opportunities with health plans, TPAs, providers, and benefit administrators through outreach, referrals, and inbound leads.

•  Qualify leads and lead discovery calls to understand prospective clients’ operational challenges.

•  Support the Sales Director on larger enterprise pursuits, including proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.

•  Own smaller and mid-sized deals throughout the sales cycle, from initial meeting through contract execution.

• Learn to position InsightPro and MDI NetworX operational solutions against client needs.

•  Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline information, and sales activity; contribute to weekly forecasts.

•  Attend industry conferences and client events alongside senior sales leadership.

•  Coordinate with operations and client services to ensure smooth handoffs for new clients.

•  Follow and help refine sales playbooks, templates, and outreach sequences.

Required Qualifications

•  2–4 years of B2B sales, business development, or sales development (SDR/BDR) experience.

•  Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding activity, pipeline, or quota targets.

•  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients.

•  Comfort with cold outreach and building a sales pipeline from scratch.

•  Working knowledge of a CRM platform, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

•  Strong organizational skills, coachability, and eagerness to learn a complex, consultative sales process.

•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

•  Willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Exposure to healthcare, health insurance, TPAs, or provider organizations.

•  Experience selling technology, SaaS, business process outsourcing (BPO), or managed services.

•  Familiarity with RFP processes or proposal writing.

What Success Looks Like — First Year

• Develop fluency in MDI NetworX solutions, InsightPro, and the healthcare payer and provider landscape.

•  Consistently achieve outreach, meeting, and pipeline targets.

•  Build a qualified pipeline that contributes to company growth goals.

•  Close initial new-client deals and contribute to larger wins led by the Sales Director.

•  Maintain clean, accurate CRM data and dependable sales forecasts.

•  Build effective working relationships across sales, operations, and client services.
