ServiceNow SPO Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SPO Developer with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development, configuration, workflow automation, and integrations.

The consultant will be responsible for developing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions, particularly within the SPO area, while working closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow platform applications and functionalities.
  

• Support development and customization activities related to ServiceNow SPO requirements.
  

• Design and implement workflows, business rules, and platform automation.
  

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
  

• Work with ServiceNow Flow Designer to automate business processes and approvals.
  

• Support integration of ServiceNow applications with external systems using APIs and integration tools.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical defects and platform-related issues.
  

• Implement enhancements and change requests based on business requirements.
  

• Collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  

• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
  

• Maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow ServiceNow development best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of total and relevant ServiceNow development experience.
  

• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and configuration.
  

• Experience working with ServiceNow SPO-related functionalities or requirements.
  

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
  

• Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
  

• Practical experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and workflow automation.
  

• Understanding of ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs and related integration approaches.
  

• Experience with ServiceNow platform customization, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  

• Knowledge of ServiceNow application development, testing, and deployment.
  

• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
  

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and related platform modules.
  

• Exposure to ServiceNow application architecture and development best practices.
  

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
  

• Knowledge of ServiceNow security, roles, and access controls.
