Arctiq is a global, intelligence-driven technology services company delivering professional and managed services across Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Networking & Connected Experiences, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, Autonomous Operations & Intelligence, and Enterprise Service Management. We help organizations operate, secure, and modernize complex environments by unifying infrastructure, networking, data, security, automation, and observability under a single, integrated operating model. Our work focuses on helping customers reduce operational friction, improve resilience, and make better, faster decisions as their environments evolve. Arctiq builds on decades of industry expertise and a customer-centric ethos to deliver exceptional value to clients across diverse industries.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead multi-project IT programs from strategy through delivery. This role involves governing a portfolio of interrelated projects using waterfall and hybrid approaches, directing Project Managers, architects, engineers, and contractors toward a shared result, and giving executives a clear view of program performance. You will partner with Sales and Pre-sales to define program-level reporting and be pivotal in maintaining executive-level client relationships and high standards of program delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full program lifecycle, from initiation and business case through benefits realization and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope across all workstreams.
  • Develop integrated program plans and roadmaps that define workstreams, milestones, dependencies, resource allocations, and budget controls.
  • Deliver programs using waterfall and hybrid approaches, selecting the method that best fits each engagement and client.
  • Lead the successful delivery of a broad range of IT projects and programs, coordinating Project Managers, technical architects, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment, effective execution, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide direction and oversight to Project Managers and workstream leads, coordinating cross-project dependencies, priorities, and handoffs.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to manage resources, schedules, and capacity planning across the program.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client executives, delivering clear communication and reporting, including executive summaries to customer leadership.
  • Present program strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to client C-level executives and steering committees, translating technical detail into clear business impact.
  • Work with Sales and Pre-sales to define program-level reporting before engagements begin, including metrics, cadence, and format, and carry those commitments into delivery.
  • Provide input to Sales and Pre-sales on scope, effort, timelines, and resourcing, and assess the impact of new or expanded work on active workstreams, dependencies, and capacity.
  • Partner with Service Delivery Leadership to coordinate program delivery on time and within budget constraints.
  • Establish and run program governance, including steering committees, decision forums, change control, and escalation paths.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues at the program level, including cross-project and portfolio-wide impacts.
  • Monitor and control program budgets, margin, and forecasts, ensuring programs are completed within financial constraints.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain thorough program documentation, including status updates, progress reports, and post-program analyses.
  • Follow PMO standards, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency, and contribute to ongoing improvement of PMO processes and methodologies.
  • Global Collaboration - while most stakeholders are in North American time zones, the role may require flexibility and adaptability in scheduling to accommodate and coordinate with stakeholders, teams, and partners located in other offshore locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in information technology, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience directing medium to large-scale IT projects, including at least 5 years managing multi-project programs or leading Project Managers.
  • Demonstrated background in both program management and project management, with hands-on experience delivering waterfall and hybrid projects.
  • Success in a fast-paced environment, managing and delivering programs of varying sizes while handling multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting a broad range of IT projects and initiatives, with a strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts, technologies, and best practices across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, application development, platform engineering, and IT operations.
  • Executive presence and polished presentation skills, with a proven ability to present and build credibility with C-level executives, handle challenging questions, and influence decisions.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Pre-sales teams to scope and plan future engagements, define program-level reporting, and anticipate impact on other workstreams and program commitments.
  • Experience working with external clients, including executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working specifically within professional IT services, such as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Managed Service Provider (MSP), or similar technology solution delivery environment is preferred
  • Strong financial acumen related to budgeting, margin, revenues, and cost tracking across multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program planning, governance, budget management, and timeline coordination, with skills in scope control, dependency and risk management, and leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing contractor relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Expertise in project management tools such as Smartsheet, NetSuite, and Microsoft 365 for effective program tracking and management.
  • PMP or PgMP certification, or additional certifications such as SAFe or CSM, are a plus.
