Senior SAP HANA Developer

Summary

Worldwide Golf is seeking a Senior SAP HANA Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data and analytics solutions within the SAP ecosystem.

As part of the technology team, this role will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and software team members to build scalable data models, reporting solutions, and analytics capabilities that support critical business functions across finance, operations, supply chain, retail, and ecommerce environments.

Responsibilities

• This individual will play a critical role in designing, building, and supporting enterprise data and analytics solutions within the SAP landscape, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing reporting and data management capabilities.

• This is a full-time, senior hands-on technical role requiring strong expertise in SAP HANA development, data modeling, analytics, and enterprise application support.

• Design and develop SAP HANA data models, calculation views, SQL scripts, table functions, and other database objects to support reporting and analytics requirements.

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models and analytics solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SAP HANA models, queries, and database processes.

• Support SAP integrations and data flows across various SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues through root cause analysis and system diagnostics.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support procedures.

• Implement data quality and governance best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting solutions.

• Support user adoption through knowledge sharing, user training, and post-deployment support.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across the development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in SAP development, data, and analytics solutions.

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP HANA, including data modeling, SQL scripting, calculation views, and performance optimization.

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and data management solutions within SAP environments.

• Working knowledge of SAP modules, particularly FI/CO, SD, and MM.

• Experience working in Agile environments and using Jira.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Experience with SAP Datasphere.

• Experience supporting retail or ecommerce business environments.

• Knowledge of cloud-based analytics and data governance best practices
