As we continue to grow our Bulgaria-based team, we’re hiring an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure across our cloud and on-premises environments.

You'll play a key role in improving platform reliability, driving automation, strengthening security, and enabling the efficient delivery of technology solutions across the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and optimise Kubernetes (EKS), ECS and serverless platforms to ensure performance, resilience and cost efficiency.

  • Build, improve and automate CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable and efficient software deployments.

  • Embed DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, secrets management and policy-driven controls.

  • Own observability and monitoring capabilities, including alerting, performance monitoring and incident response.

  • Support platform resilience through backup, disaster recovery, business continuity and on-call participation.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security and business teams to deliver platform improvements and manage technical risk.

  • Maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks and operational processes while championing continuous improvement.

Skills and experience required:

  • 4+ years' experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering or similar role.

  • Strong experience managing secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and hybrid environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), containers and modern cloud-native technologies.

  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash or similar.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

  • Strong Linux and Windows administration skills within production environments.

  • Solid understanding of networking, security, system architecture and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

Work Mode & Salary:

  • Remote working within Bulgaria only. We do have an office in Plovdiv should you wish to work hybrid.

  • Gross annual salary: €50,000 to €56,000 based on experience.

Interview Process

  • Online interview with the Senior Talent Advisor

  • 75-minute technical interview with Engineering Leads

  • 45-minute final interview with the Director of Engineering
