Senior DevOps Engineer - Checkmarx

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of a key application security tool: Checkmarx. As a Service Administrator, you will co-own the day-to-day operation, administration, and continuous improvement of the platform, serving as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Manage central configuration of the platform, ensure smooth operation, and handle upgrades and maintenance activities Investigate and resolve issues reported by users, troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines, and act on operational incidents, including recovery Communicate with Checkmarx vendors on issues, feature requests, and timelines Participate in regular vendor meetings and escalate critical issues when needed Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and development of new features Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features, and evaluate new product capabilities Coordinate adoption plans for new platform capabilities Validate vendor fixes and patches before production deployment Provide feedback that influences product roadmap discussions Requirements 5+ years of experience administering application security platforms such as Checkmarx Expertise in CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting and scan integration configuration Proficiency in the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development Background in vendor management, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines Skills in platform administration, including configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance activities Understanding of operational incident handling and recovery procedures Capability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans across teams English proficiency at B2 level or higher
