Your Impact:

  • Leads the group-wide financial planning and analysis function across the holding company and all operating companies (OpsCo). Owns the end-to-end annual budgeting, rolling forecast, and long-range planning cycle for the total Group, consolidating entity-level plans into a single, decision-ready view for the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors. Builds and maintains the Group financial model used for simulation, scenario analysis, cost allocation, management reporting, and M&A evaluation, serving as the CFO’s principal business partner on performance, capital allocation, and strategic decisions. Extends this financial perspective into strategic procurement and spend optimisation, using analysis and commercial partnering to improve supplier value, investment discipline, and cash outcomes. FP&A remains the core mandate, with strategic procurement focused on major spend decisions and group opportunities, supported by local teams for routine purchasing.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

Group Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning Cycle Leadership

  • Own and drive the annual budget, quarterly reforecast, and 3–5 year plan for the total Group, covering the holding company and every OpsCo, with a clear planning calendar, templates, and accountability across entity and functional heads.
  • Translate Group strategy and targets into entity-level budgets for revenue, gross margin, OPEX, headcount, CAPEX, and cash flow; challenge assumptions and drive alignment between top-down targets and bottom-up submissions.
  • Consolidate entity budgets and forecasts into Group-level P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow views, ensuring proper intercompany eliminations and consistency with Group accounting policies.
  • Establish and continuously improve FP&A processes, planning tools, and data structures (chart of accounts mapping, cost centers, entity hierarchy) to shorten cycle time and raise forecast accuracy.
  • Incorporate major supplier commitments, renewal dates, and negotiated commercial terms into budgets and cash forecasts.

Financial Modelling, Simulation & Scenario Analysis

  • Design, build, and maintain an integrated, driver-based Group financial model (three-statement, multi-entity) that supports simulation of revenue, cost, headcount, pricing, and investment scenarios.
  • Run sensitivity, scenario, and what-if analyses (base / upside / downside) to quantify the impact of strategic initiatives, market shifts, and funding decisions on Group profitability, cash runway, and valuation.
  • Prepare business cases and investment appraisals (NPV, IRR, payback, unit economics) for new products, markets, and major CAPEX, providing clear recommendations to the CFO and executive team.
  • Ensure model integrity, version control, documentation, and auditability so that outputs can be relied upon by management, auditors, investors, and financial advisors.

Management Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly Group management reporting packs, including budget vs. actual vs. forecast variance analysis by entity, business unit, product, and customer segment, with clear commentary on drivers and actions.
  • Define and track Group KPIs and operating metrics (e.g., revenue growth, gross margin, EBITDA, OPEX ratios, cash burn, ARR / recurring revenue, utilization) through dashboards for the CFO, CEO, and Board.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to explain performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions to meet Group targets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the cost base through demand management, licence utilisation, supplier consolidation, and better commercial terms.
  • Support Board, Audit Committee, investor, and lender reporting, including preparation of financial presentations and responses to financial due diligence requests.

Group Cost Allocation & Intercompany Charging

  • Design and maintain the Group cost allocation methodology for shared services and holding company costs (e.g., management fees, IT, HR, Finance, office), using fair, transparent, and defensible allocation drivers.
  • Calculate and administer intercompany recharges and management fees in coordination with Accounting, Tax, and Legal, ensuring alignment with transfer pricing policy and documentation requirements.
  • Provide entity-level and product-level profitability analysis on a fully allocated basis to support pricing, resourcing, and portfolio decisions.

M&A, Corporate Development & Strategic Support

  • Build valuation and transaction models (DCF, trading / transaction comparables, accretion / dilution, pro-forma consolidation) to evaluate acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and Group restructuring.
  • Support financial due diligence, synergy quantification, deal structuring analysis, and post-merger integration planning, working closely with the CFO, Corporate Development, Financial Advisors (FA), and external auditors.
  • Integrate newly acquired or restructured entities into the Group planning, reporting, and cost allocation framework, and track realization of deal synergies against the original business case.
  • Provide financial projections and analysis to support fundraising, capital structure decisions, and potential IPO readiness requirements.

Strategic Procurement and Spend Optimisation

  • Use Group spend analytics to identify and prioritise value opportunities across cloud and software subscriptions, professional services, external development, and other material indirect spend categories.
  • Partner with business owners and technical specialists to evaluate demand, supplier options, and total cost of ownership; build financial business cases that balance price, service quality, risk, and scalability.
  • Lead or coordinate strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations for selected major contracts and renewals, working with Legal, IT, and local procurement teams; leverage Group purchasing scale where beneficial.
  • Build visibility of material contracts, renewal dates, usage, and committed spend, and translate negotiated outcomes into the Group forecast and cash plan.
  • Track realised savings, cost avoidance, and working-capital benefits separately against agreed baselines, with independent validation by Accounting or the Controller.
  • Help establish proportionate procurement policies and approval thresholds. Business owners retain accountability for specifications and service acceptance; supplier awards and commitments follow delegated approvals, while vendor master maintenance, invoice accounting, and payment release remain independently controlled.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial modelling, or investment banking / transaction advisory, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a multiple-entity, holding company and operating company (HoldCo / OpsCo) group structure, including Group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and shared-cost allocation.
  • Experience with ERP and planning / BI tools (e.g., MSFT Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Power BI, Tableau) and a strong drive to automate and digitize the planning process.
  • Strong business acumen in technology, digital, or AI businesses is an advantage, with the ability to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes.
  • Executive presence and strong stakeholder management skills to partner with, influence, and challenge C-level executives and entity heads.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence supplier discussions and cross-functional spend decisions.
  • Experience in spend analysis, commercial negotiation, vendor business cases, or cost transformation is an advantage.
  • A procurement career background or professional procurement qualification is not required; strong FP&A capability and willingness to develop strategic sourcing skills are key.
  • Excellent bilingual communication, written executive reporting, and presentation skills in English and Thai.
