Conflict Resolution & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor and conflict resolution specialist, partnering closely with HRBPs, Legal, and cross-functional teams to resolve sensitive employee matters.
Policy & Compliance Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on local employment laws, compliance guidelines, and Atlassian people policies.

Training & Enablement: Facilitate training sessions for leaders and teams on effective performance management, navigating difficult conversations, and compliance practices.
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
5-7+ years of dedicated Employee Relations or related HR experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
Proven track record of independently managing end-to-end workplace investigations and complex performance management situations.
Deep knowledge of relevant employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance frameworks for the U.S. and Canada
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and objectivity.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex recommendations and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Empathy, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust across all levels of the organization.
It’s also great if you have:
Experience in the tech or SaaS industry.
