Job description

Company Overview

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are ‘Powered by Deepgram’, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models are accessed through cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, with unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. Backed by a recent Series C led by leading global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram.

Company Operating Rhythm

At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.

Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.

Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

Team Overview

Demand Generation turns Deepgram's speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice agent products into enterprise pipeline across contact centers, healthcare, financial services, and more. This is a connecting role: you'll take every launch and program from brief to pipeline alongside Product Marketing, Events & Field Marketing, SDR leadership, Partner Marketing, Marketing Operations, Brand, Content, and Sales. You'll report to [Director, Demand Generation / VP, Demand Generation: confirm] and build the integrated campaign playbook the whole go-to-market team plans against, with room to grow into people leadership as the team expands.

Key Goals

  • Run every product launch with Product Marketing as one integrated campaign across paid digital, email, content, web, events, SDR outreach, and partners, mapped to personas and target accounts and scaled by launch tier.

  • Build the launch template and integrated campaign playbook so new launches, verticals, and regions plug in without a rebuild, making integrated campaigns a top source of pipeline.

  • Run always-on ABX programs for priority verticals and named accounts, keeping momentum between launches with vertical narratives, customer proof, and competitive plays.

  • Run pre-event, onsite, and post-event campaigns with Events & Field Marketing, including AWS re:Invent and Deepgram's flagship events, so booth meetings become pipeline.

  • Co-design sequences, talk tracks, and proof steps with SDR leadership for every campaign.

  • Run partner campaigns with Partner Marketing and partners like AWS, Twilio, and NVIDIA, including MDF-funded programs, with reporting that connects partner activity to pipeline.

  • Set KPIs before every launch, report weekly, and run a retro on each campaign; with Marketing Ops, show how campaigns move pipeline from first touch to closed deal, and make the call on what to scale and what to cut.

  • Own the cross-functional campaign calendar and intake process that Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Brand, Content, Events, and Sales plan against.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities

  • Has taken a product launch to market as one integrated campaign across multiple channels, thinking in launch tiers, personas, and buyer journeys.

  • Runs account-based programs for enterprise buyers and can show the pipeline and revenue they produced.

  • Turns a positioning doc into one story across ad copy, email, landing page, and SDR opener, leading with the buyer's problem and proof rather than feature lists.

  • Builds campaign sequences hands-on with SDR teams in Outreach or a similar tool.

  • Knows Salesforce campaign structures well enough to trace campaigns, including partner and MDF programs, from first touch to closed deal, and builds the analysis that shows what's working.

  • Sets KPIs up front, runs honest retros, and cuts what isn't working.

  • Creates lightweight, agile processes like a shared calendar and intake that many teams actually use, and keeps alignment without formal authority.

  • Operates AI-native: builds human+AI workflows for briefs, copy variants, list building, and reporting.

  • Keeps rigor when the roadmap shifts and the plan changes often.

Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have, not required)

  • Typically ~5–7 years in B2B marketing, including several years running integrated, ABM/ABX, or demand gen campaigns at a fast-growing technical company (dev tools, cloud, data infrastructure, or AI), or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • Hands-on with HubSpot, Outreach, and Salesforce, plus Dreamdata or a similar attribution tool, and LinkedIn and Google Ads.

  • Ran hyperscaler or ISV co-marketing, including MDF programs.

  • Marketed to contact center, healthcare, financial services, or public-sector buyers.

  • Close working experience with product marketing on launches, value stories, and messaging.

Our Values

  • Be You — bring your whole self and a different perspective; diverse viewpoints make our products better.

  • Be Curious — challenge the status quo, keep learning, and ask 'how might we?' instead of accepting limits.

  • Grow Together — push each other to do great work, treat feedback as a gift, and leave the drama out.

  • Do the Right Thing — act with integrity and candor, assume best intent, choose ethics over expediency.

  • Think Smart. Act Fast. — weigh the high-leverage options, decide, and move; no analysis paralysis.

  • Put the Customer First — listen with empathy, understand their goals, and let their success drive ours.
