Role Overview

The IT Innovation and Transformation Specialist drives technology initiatives that improve productivity, security, and IT operations. This is a highly hands-on role requiring extensive professional experience and advanced technical proficiency across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft security technologies.

The role focuses on modern workplace solutions, identity management, endpoint security, automation, AI adoption, and cross-platform management across Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, SaaS applications, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovation and Transformation

• Identify and implement technologies that improve productivity, efficiency, and user experience.
• Evaluate and adopt AI solutions, and emerging technologies.
• Develop proofs of concept and automate manual processes using modern tools and cloud services.
• Translate business needs into secure, scalable, and practical technology solutions.

2. Microsoft 365, Azure and Identity

• Design, administer, and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Graph.
• Manage ldPs Entra ID/Okta, Conditional Access, MFA, privileged access, tenant governance, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Integrate SaaS applications with enterprise identity and access management platforms.
• Optimize licensing, cloud consumption, and service configurations.

3. Endpoint Management and Modern Workplace

• Design and maintain endpoint management solutions for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS/iPadOS, and Android using Intune and complementary technologies.
• Manage device provisioning, application deployment, configuration, compliance, security baselines, and remediation.
• Improve endpoint lifecycle management, standardization, and user experience through automation.
• Ensure endpoints remain secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise requirements.

4. Cybersecurity and Governance

• Partner closely with the Cybersecurity team to align IT initiatives with security strategy, policies, and risk management requirements.
• Embed security, privacy, and compliance by design across Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoints, and SaaS platforms.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of Security Tools, Zero Trust, Conditional Access, least privilege, vulnerability management, and secure secrets handling.
• Collaborate on security assessments, remediation initiatives, incident response readiness, and governance improvements.

5. Automation and Systems Integration

• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Bash/shell scripting, Azure automation.
• Integrate enterprise platforms and services through APIs and modern authentication mechanisms.
• Reduce manual IT operations through reliable, reusable, and secure automation.
• Apply engineering best practices, including logging, error handling, testing, documentation, and maintainability.

6. Architecture and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Contribute to IT strategy, technology roadmaps, architecture decisions, and continuous service improvement.
• Assess solutions based on security, scalability, operational complexity, cost, and business value.
• Work closely with IT, Cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned technology initiatives.
• Share technical knowledge and promote standardization, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Experience and Technical Proficiency

• Extensive professional experience in enterprise IT, with strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of identity security, Zero Trust, endpoint protection, access governance, and enterprise security controls.
• Proven experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, scripting, and automation.
• Experience managing Windows and macOS environments, with working knowledge of Linux and mobile platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Purview, SaaS governance, and cloud operations.
• Ability to independently design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Role Expectations

This is a hands-on technical role requiring advanced technical proficiency, independent problem-solving, and ownership of solutions from design through implementation and optimization. The successful candidate will combine technical depth with strategic thinking, strong collaboration with the Cybersecurity team, and a focus on delivering secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is €45,000 - €60,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and work location. Centric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and other applicable benefits, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
